The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on 25 May 2018 and organisations must be able to prove they’re in compliance with GDPR requirements. Fines for non-compliance can be up to four percent of annual global turnover or up to 20 million euros.
PwC data protection consultants developed the Data Protection Manager, a user-friendly software for administration of processes and applications to facilitate the process of GDPR compliance.

The PwC Data Protection Manager tool consists of a simple questionnaire by which employees enter information on their use of your organisation’s personal data. This can be done either online or offline via an Excel spreadsheet, which can then be uploaded to the PwC Data Protection Manager.
The tool automatically captures activity processes and creates a data flow map, among other useful functionalities.
The questionnaire records processing activities, automatically creates records of these and documents your organisation’s compliance.
The PwC Data Protection Manager generates a checklist for implementation of data protection impact assessment for your organisation.
Clear visualisation of data transfer in a data flow map.
Enables documentation of the selection of a potential provider, the content of the contract and reminders for the type and frequency of audit.
Generates a diagram for the reporting process, incident documentation and evaluation.
Generates an illustration of your organisational chart.
Includes GDPR basic training materials, courses and documentation.
