Pascal Tops

Pascal started his career as an external auditor. After 12 years as an external auditor, he started focusing on Risk Assurance and Risk Consulting.  He has a mixed client portfolio of public sector and (multinational) industry clients.  

Pascal is leading PwC's Internal Audit and Forensic Audit services. As a result of his focus on risk related topics, he has gained a broad expertise in specific risk related topics such as risk management & resilience, internal controls, compliance management and data protection. He is well appreciated by clients for his ability to think broadly across the different components of a business and bring hybrid solutions as needed by taking a look at business issues from a holistic client’s view.  

Pascal graduated in accountancy and tax law, and also holds a series of professional accreditations in the risk & compliance space. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP) and holds a Control Self-Assessment Accreditation (CCSA) and Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA). He is accredited by the Institute of Internal Auditors to execute external quality reviews on internal audit departments.
