David Desmet leads the Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team within PwC Belgium’s Deals department. The focus of this team is on the operational aspects of M&A: synergy assessments, post-merger integration, operational due diligence, carve-out due diligence and carve-out implementation.

Prior to joining PwC, David Desmet graduated cum laude from the Catholic University of Leuven as a Civil Engineer in Materials Science (2006), and obtained a Master in General Management from the Vlerick Business School (2007). David is also certified since 2022 in Post Merger Integration (CPMI) by the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA).
