Bart is a Director specialised in Indirect Taxes (VAT) and focuses on translating the sometimes complex VAT rules into a pragmatic approach. After having worked for one year as a Group VAT Manager in the Industry, Bart re-joined PwC in 2014. Bart is now responsible for the Indirect Taxes group in the Ghent office.

He provides a large variety of both national and multinational clients with indirect tax advice in different sectors, ranging from CIPS to capital projects and infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, TICE and Energy and Utilities.

Furthermore, as Indirect Tax responsible of the PwC Transaction Group, Bart has worked both for Private Equity and Strategic buyers and has been involved in several important Belgian as international projects.

Bart is a lecturer at the Artesis Plantijn University College in Antwerp and the co-author of the book “A guide to VAT in the 27 EU Member States, Norway and Switzerland”.
