The process starts with a preparatory meeting with your tax and stat team to familiarise ourselves with your wider tax and stat landscape and identify priorities. We also investigate your current AS-IS situation and discuss your TO-BE preferences.
The information gathered in our preparatory meeting forms the basis of the key design decisions for tax and statutory purposes during the ERP implementation. This includes decisions regarding your migration approach, VAT determination, ledger set-up, master data and withholding tax (WHT). We also take this opportunity to capture any additional broader points that need further attention and/or strategic recommendations based on our experience, for example regarding ESG or Pillar II.
Your internal experts need to align on your ERP transformation objectives and the methods that will be used to achieve them. That’s why we invite your key tax, finance and IT stakeholders to a workshop to discuss the key design decisions, set out the roadmap for the remainder of the project and finalise any other open items prior to the next step.
Based on the results of the previous steps, we can support your company in a variety of ways. This includes gathering local tax and stat requirements, undertaking a fit/gap analysis of the regulatory requirements against your ERP and/or satellite systems, analysing if your current configuration can be maintained and drafting global and/or local solution and process design documents.
Depending on the decisions already made during the process, we can support the implementation of your ERP system and/or satellite systems for all countries in scope. This includes assisting with build, test, cut over and hypercare for VAT, ledgers, direct tax, withholding, tax, transfer pricing, Pillar 2 and ESG.
