Marc Hoessels is a co-Leader of the Belgian Indirect Tax - TPC team (Technology Process & Controls) and has more than 20 years of experience with Indirect Taxes. Marc is also member of the ITX Technology Board of PwC.
Marc has managed various international co-ordination projects for leading MNCs and has helped various clients on how to determine their TAX-IT strategy and has also rolled out many projects in companies and Shared Service Centers. He has a vast experience in understanding all the new developments that the various Technology Providers are offering (such as Oracle, SAP (Ariba), Thomson Reuters, Vertex , etc).
Together with the ITX team, Marc can explain the relevance of any changes to the IT environment specifically from a tax perspective, singling out particular areas of impact and making sure that tax doesn’t become a cost above the line (EBIT). With his foundations firmly in the field of taxation, Marc has a complete understanding of this often complex subject and consolidate that deep knowledge with his extensive IT expertise.
With the help of his alliances with IT providers, Marc can advise on the systems that would ideally match your specific business context. When IT systems evolve and change, Marc and the ITX team can keep you informed to make sure that you maintain a consistent level of tax exposure and efficiencies.
