Christoph has been the Belgian Managing Partner for Tax and Legal Services (TLS) since July 2024 and has more than 25 years of experience. From 2021 to 2024, he led PwC's Global Indirect Tax Network, coordinating our go-to-market on VAT, Customs and global trade and our global initiatives in the Indirect Tax Technology and ERP landscape. It is work that reflects how he sees the profession: “little of lasting value gets built on an island.”
Christoph is a Certified Tax Advisor and a member of the Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants. As an expert in tax automation and global digital tax compliance, much of his work sits where tax and technology meet.
For multinational companies, he has designed and implemented the international structures, billing and ERP platforms behind their tax operations. He has also helped leading technology providers and platforms roll out Tax compliant solutions. As lead indirect tax partner for several international groups, he has coordinated their collaboration with PwC while keeping a close eye on delivery quality.
He looks at these topics with a broad lens: how technology and AI are reshaping the way tax work is done and what that means for clients and for the wider market. Christoph regularly shares what he learns, through articles, posts and newsletter and talks at events across the PwC network and beyond.
