Natacha Dewyngaert

Meet our solvers

So tell us, who are you?

My name is Natacha Dewyngaert and I’m a Senior Manager in the Technology Consulting team. This summer, in August, I celebrated my tenth year anniversary at PwC. So yeah, time goes fast.

I studied business engineering at the VUB, Vrije Universiteit Brussel and I immediately started working at PwC in 2013 after I graduated. So that’s where it all started.

What does Community of Solvers mean to you personally?

At PwC, the concept of a 'community of solvers' is at the heart of everything we do. It's all about bringing together a diverse group of people with different skills and experiences to tackle challenges head-on.

In my role within Technology Consulting, I focus primarily on digital transformation and strategy projects in the public sector. Our aim is to help our clients optimise their internal processes in order to better serve citizens.

These projects require us to approach them from various angles, incorporating strategic, technical, analytical, and supportive viewpoints. By bringing together this diverse range of expertise, we are able to offer our stakeholders more comprehensive and effective solutions.

As a community, we value the fresh ideas and perspectives that new graduates bring. By leveraging our collective strengths and working collaboratively, we strive to find innovative solutions that have a positive impact on society.

What does your working day generally look like?

Today, I’m driving a transformation project for a large client within the public sector. While I primarily work at the client's premises, I make sure to come to the PwC office at least once a week to connect with my colleagues.

Throughout the day, I have meaningful conversations, brainstorming sessions, and problem-solving activities with the client, stakeholders and team members. It's great to collaborate with my team and come up with innovative solutions. We also know how important it is to balance work and fun. That's why we regularly organise team-building activities. These events help us relax, bond, and strengthen our relationships. Combining work with fun builds trust, enhances teamwork, and makes our work environment positive.

What’s still on your bucket list?

While I may not be the best swimmer or cyclist, one thing on my bucket list is becoming a part of the PwC Heroes community. I believe in setting goals that push me outside of my comfort zone and allow personal growth.

What is your team like?

For me, I'm a strong believer and defender of our PwC values and culture. Doing the right thing, working together to think outside the box, and genuinely caring about each other are what drives me every day. Our team has a fantastic dynamic and we work together seamlessly. We strike a balance between professionalism and creating a friendly atmosphere. We look out for each other, both personally and professionally, and we're always there to support one another. This creates a positive and uplifting work environment that contributes to our collective success.

This all contributes to making a positive difference and growing together as a team. We believe that by embodying the values of PwC, we can create meaningful impact and achieve remarkable results. It's not just about the work we do, but also about the relationships we build and the support we provide to one another.

Is there room for growth and development at PwC?

Definitely! I started straight from university as an Associate, then two years later became Senior Associate. Then Manager, then Senior Manager. It's not just about promotions, but growing in the job. For me, a large part of that comes from being inspired by people who share the same values and from empowering and supporting each other.

What would you like to say to your future colleagues?

To my future colleagues, I extend a warm and enthusiastic welcome! At PwC, we embrace individuals from different backgrounds and recognise that everyone has something valuable to contribute. We are excited to grow together and learn from each other. Your unique perspectives and ideas will enrich our community of solvers, making it even stronger and more impactful. The more, the merrier! My advice would be that inevitably, there will be tough times. Then you need to push yourself to keep going. But we are a community, and we support each other. It's at these times that we learn the most!
