Hugues Lamon is a Partner at PwC Belgium in the M&A tax group.  He is providing tax services to several multinational corporations, real estate companies, investment funds, etc. He has been involved in major acquisitions both in an inbound and outbound context throughout the course of his career, dealing with a wide variety of structurings (MBO’s, IPO’s, PPP’s) including providing tax advice in relation to corporate and capital structure investments , divestments, JV’s, etc.

Hugues has a reputation for creativity and technical strength which he manages to combine with pragmatism and an ability to explain tax concepts in a straightforward manner.

Hugues graduated as a Commercial Engineer from the Solvay Business School of Management, is a certified financial analyst from the Belgian Association of Financial Analysts and holds a Master in International Tax from the Solvay Business School of Management.

Hugues has published three books and has written numerous publications in the field of taxation especially focussing on financing, international tax and mergers and acquisitions, often published in the I.B.F.D., Derivatives and Financial Instruments.

Furthermore Hugues is a regular guest speaker at seminars. Nowadays, he also teaches Tax Management at the Solvay Business School of Management.
