Thomas is a managing director within PwC Belgium’s sustainability team, with a focus on supporting clients in setting up their ESG strategies and reporting frameworks, considering current and upcoming legal requirements (EU CSRD, Taxonomy, etc). He is also involved in Sustainability Assurance-related assignments.
Thomas leads a team of about 50 Sustainability Reporting consultants and auditors within PwC Belgium, and is closely connected with the Global CSRD Centre of Excellence.
At the start of his career, Thomas gained knowledge and experience in the fields of IT audit and internal controls consulting, with a specific expertise in embedding internal controls within SAP ERP systems. He worked for PwC Switzerland for 6 years, during which he further expanded his knowledge in these domains. Today, he leverages that experience to set up robust, audit-proof ESG reporting frameworks for our clients.
