This summer, the Federal Government has succeeded in reaching an agreement on an unprecedented tax reform. From corporate income tax to VAT and tax on savings and payroll tax, major changes are on their way for 2018 and 2020, notably a decrease in the corporate income tax rate to 25%, the introduction of tax consolidation in Belgium and a minimum tax base. Lots of new tax changes are also expected for the employers and individuals (new type of bonus, ‘cash for cars’ system, tax charge on securities accounts, etc.).

During this conference, we will examine the changes to be taken into consideration in your year-end planning and the implementation of your tax strategy, both from the company’s and employer’s viewpoint. We will come back to the milestones of 2017 with a selection of decisions and rulings that have a major practical impact or are likely to guide your strategy. The latest developments in the field of VAT will also be tackled. At last, after its first year, we will discuss some practical focus points as regards transfer pricing documentation.
