| This year again, Belgium's Tax Freedom Day falls on 10 June, as computed by PwC in cooperation with the Catholic University of Leuven. Tax Freedom Day is the day on which a nation and its taxpayers meet all types of tax liabilities for the current year. In other words, up to and including today, we have worked for the State. From 10 June, we will be working for ourselves. It is a great day to pause and look into the how and why of taxes, and to look at all that has been achieved in the area of fiscal policy, and, additionally, at where there is room for further improvement. ![]() |
