Hugues Lamon is a Partner at PwC Belgium in the M&A tax group. After 10 years of experience in the field of international taxation, Hugues has gained important knowledge in corporate financing and all tax aspects of acquisitions. Hugues has been involved in major acquisitions in both an inbound and an outbound context including carve-outs, IPOs, MBOs and delistings.

Hugues graduated as a Commercial Engineer from the Solvay Business School of Management. He is a certified financial analyst and a member of the Belgian Association of Financial Analysts, and he holds a Master in International Tax from the Solvay Business School of Management.

Hugues has published three books and has written numerous publications in the field of taxation especially focussing on financing, international tax and mergers and acquisitions, often published in the I.B.F.D., Derivatives and Financial Instruments.

Hugues is Professor in Taxation at the Solvay Business School of Management. Hugues is also a regular guest speaker at seminars.
