Lieven is leading Partner within the PwC Deals practice. He has over 22 years of experience in public accounting/auditing and, over the years, he has served as a client service partner on the firm’s largest national and international clients, both publicly and privately owned. He specialised in deal management and due diligence services, from performing the initial analysis of financial and operational performance through assisting in negotiations and determining the final purchase price, and coordinating due diligence procedures and structuring deals. Lieven holds a Master degree in Applied Economics from the University of Ghent. He has acted as a guest speaker on several seminars and has written several articles on M&A. He is also member of the Belgian Assurance leadership team and member of the HR Board. |

Martin is a Manager in the Finance and Treasury practice of PwC in Belgium. His focus is on working capital assignments, identifying and quantifying cash opportunities in the order-to-cash and purchase-to-pay processes, and assisting multinational corporates and private equity-backed firms realising these. Prior to joining PwC, he has held several consulting positions advising clients on working capital management as well as other finance and performance management topics, such as budgeting and planning processes. Martin holds a Master in Business Administration from Aachen University, Germany. |

Nancy De Beule is a Tax Director in the PwC Transactions practice. She has been involved in a lot of major, both inbound and outbound acquisitions, national and international reorganisations, IPOs, carve-outs and MBOs. After obtaining a degree in Accountancy, Nancy specialised in Tax and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Tax Sciences from the Fiscale Hogeschool in Brussels, as well as a Master’s degree in this domain from the Solvay Business School of Management (also in Brussels). As an active member of IAB-IEC (i.e. the Belgian institute of accountants and tax consultants), Nancy serves on the examining board and technical committee on IFRS-related tax matters. |

He has 20 years of experience in transactions and restructuring operations: proposing debt and/or equity solutions, preparing and reviewing strategic, operational and financial aspects of corporate business plans, refinancing, managing turnarounds, initiating transactions, and managing projects for complex transactions and reorganisations, in continental Europe as well as in the UK. Michael has a Law degree from the University of Antwerp. He also holds a Diplôme en Administration des Entreprises (Université Catholique de Louvain, Louvain-La-Neuve) and a Master’s degree of Business Administration from Suffolk University, Boston. |

He has more than 20 years of experience in real estate business: leasing transactions, commercial valuations, capital markets and strategic corporate consulting. For the last seven years, Jean-Paul has been a Director at Jones Lang Lasalle in Capital Markets and Strategic Corporate Consulting. Prior to that, he led the Valuations and Advisory services practice at Cushman & Wakefield for five years, and this after an impressive career with Citibank. Jean-Paul holds a Master Degree in Commercial Engineering from Solvay Business School in Brussels. Jean-Paul is Chairman of the Board of Directors of RICS Belgium and Luxembourg – the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors – being the mark of property professionalism worldwide. |

Chris is the Global Head of Corporate Finance and the Head of European Private Equity in London and has been active in the M&A market for twenty years. In 1988 Chris returned to PwC’ then recently formed Corporate Finance Department, following a secondment to Doughty Hanson, the major European private equity institution. Chris has advised on all aspects of M&A-related transactions, sourcing deals for investors, advising on acquisitions and financial structuring as well as disposals. |

He has specialised in all aspects of Mergers & Acquisitions, reorganisations and cross-border structuring of acquisitions, including designing and implementing international tax planning strategies and providing tax advice on the operational aspects of businesses. Jan holds a Law degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, a Master of Law degree (LLM) from Georgetown University, USA, and a Postgraduate degree in Fiscal Law from the Ecole supérieure des Sciences fiscales in Brussels. Didier is a Director in the Finance and Treasury practice of PwC in Belgium. He has filled various treasury and finance positions in Corporate, Banking and Advisory organisations. He is now mainly active in running cash management projects, reengineering bank structures and improving working capital, and has worked with various multinational companies to develop their new treasury vision and document this in a detailed set of treasury policies. Didier graduated as a Commercial Engineer from Université Catholique de Louvain and holds a Master’s degree in Common European Management Studies (CEMS). He is also a Certified International Cash Manager from the ACT (Association of Corporate Treasurers). |
