We will start taking a closer look at the social measures that have been announced by the Belgian federal government within the framework of the so-called ‘summer agreement’. Specifically we will review the changes to notice periods in the first 6 months of employment. Besides this, we will tackle the employees’ participation which offers interesting perspectives both from a fiscal and a social security point of view.
Afterwards, we will also take a prospective look at the major developments of the last years of the legislature. Finally, we will tackle the most relevant case law likely to have a considerable impact on the daily practice of an HR Manager.
