Kurt Cappoen

Kurt is an Assurance partner at PwC Bedrijfsrevisoren/Reviseurs d’Entreprises. He graduated as a Business Engineer (EHSAL) and holds master after master degrees in Financial Economics (UCL - IAG) and in Accountancy (Vlekho). Since 2003 he is a registered auditor with the IBR-IRE. In 2008, he obtained his accreditation at the Financial Services and Markets Authority and was also accredited by the National Bank of Belgium for insurance companies. Kurt has extensive experience in auditing insurance companies (incl IFRS 17) and pension funds.

He is currently a member of the Assurance leadership team of PwC and the Assurance territory risk management partner. He is also the Insurance Leader of PwC Belgium and a guest professor at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
