Jeroen Bockaert

Jeroen is a Partner in the Brussels Financial Services Team. He is part of the PwC Belgian Leadership team responsible for Products & Services. In this role he oversees the digitalisation of our business and drives innovation initiatives in our firm. 

He was previously based in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo and is specialised in the complexities of financial reporting for financial services companies. He works with credit institutions, payment firms, insurance companies etc. on dealing with international (IFRS) and local financial reporting matters as well as regulatory and risk compliance.  

As a certified auditor he oversees the financial statement audit of financial services companies including the regulatory reporting to the competent authority.  He is a certified banking auditor in Belgium and a member of PwC’s global accounting technical committee (ACS) as a financial instruments expert. He is also part of PwC's global banking committee which is responsible for financial reporting topics specific to the banking industry. In this capacity he chairs the working group of the Institute of Auditors accredited for financial institutions that looks into IFRS and accounting standards.
